The blog aims to give an insight into what is happening on the Costa del Sol through the eyes of somebody who lives here and involved in one of the coast’s major industries – Property Sales. The idea is to give a light hearted commentary on some of the idiosyncracies of the Costa del Sol and it’s people and to show why we love living here.
I will provide information on anything that is happening on the coast that interests me. The observations will be very personal and as seen through my eyes. My goal is not only to promote the Costa del Sol for all its strengths but also to comment on the weaknesses and the problems facing all of us in these difficult times.
I am not a politician and in fact am totally apolitical but that doesn’t stop me having opinions on what is going on around me and I will be looking at what is happening in the town halls and what they are doing or not doing to make help promote and improve the Costa del Sol.
As I am totally involved in the property business there will no doubt be comments on the housing market and what is happening with house prices and sales, together with advice and comments on the issues which are being brought to us by clients on a daily basis. I am also happy to answer individual readers queries on their property problems and issues either privately by e-mail to michael@michael-moon.com or in the public forum.
I hope that this blog will be of interest to everyone who has an interest in the Costa del Sol either as a resident, a visitor or a future potential resident. I also hope that it will prove to be entertaining and that the feedback will from readers will help me in gaining a even deeper understanding of the community in which we live and will help me make improvements within my business to help us serve the local community even better than we do already!

Originally from the UK, after years of commuting backwards and forwards to Spain for many years I eventually stopped going back to the UK and have now been living and working full time in the Marbella area for about 10 years.
